We're here at Edisto Beach. It's very tropical, with palm trees and all, but today it's windy and cold, so we're going to Charleston for the day. Here's a picture of a bat hanging from a branch next to the trail in the local state park:

That bat looks like it is emerging from the shell of a coconut. Of course, I'm looking at a small picture...
I had a photo from a better angle, but it was out of focus :(
No coconut, sadly, just battiness.
